The Albanian Diving Federation was established in 2015. Federation has in focused development the sports of Finswimming and Scuba Diving.

Albanian Diving Federation is member of CMAS since 2018, and in 2019 a member of Albanian National Olympic Committee. This is an historic photo from the day when Arian Gace, Mauro Pazzi, Igli Pustina and Devi Ziso, after an expedition, decided to create the federation.

Our Missions

  • To bring awareness to free diving across Albania and support the efforts of all those that engage in the sport, whether it be for self-exploration and adventure, therapeutic benefits, or purely competition – in the safest manner possible.

  • To bring awareness to the public about the vast diversity of Albania’s underwater environment and actively participating in the preservation and conservation of Albanian marine flora and fauna.
  • To interact with government and local authorities in the promotion of diving activities, through Sporting and Recreational events.

  • To monitor and safeguard Marine Protected Areas and to promote  under-water Historical and Cultural heritage.
