The Italian cargo Albano, built in 1918 by S. P. Austin & Son and owned by Adriatica S.A. di Navigazione, was requisitioned by the Italian Navy in the Second World War.
On January 2, 1941, Albano was traveling from Durres to Vlora when she was sunk by a mine, 1 mile west from the coast of Durres, Albania.
